A relaxed session together, beautifully remembered

Holiday photos usually mean one of you behind the phone. A couples photoshoot in Tenerife changes that: for 45 minutes to two hours you simply enjoy the island together, while I capture the way you look at each other, the jokes, the wind in your hair and the light on the ocean.

I don’t ask you to pose like models. I give you small, natural directions – walk towards me, whisper something silly, dance a little in the water – and photograph what happens in between. The result is a set of honest, romantic images that still feel like you ten years from now.

Honeymoons, anniversaries and engagements

Many couples book a session to mark something special: a honeymoon photoshoot after the wedding, an anniversary trip, a maternity session before the baby arrives, or engagement photos for your save-the-dates. Where we can shoot

Tenerife gives us an incredible range of backdrops within a short drive: black sand beaches with white surf, textured volcanic rocks and tide pools, cliffs at sunset, green laurel forests and colourful old town streets. Based on your date and where you are staying, I will suggest the spot with the best light and the fewest crowds. We meet at the spot about an hour before sunset (or at sunrise if you’re early birds). Questions before you book

We’re not models and feel awkward in front of the camera. Is that a problem?

Not at all – most people I photograph say exactly this. I guide you through the whole session with simple prompts: walk, talk, hold each other, play with the waves. You never have to “pose”; you just spend the time together while I look for the light and the little moments in between.

What should we wear?

Comfortable clothes you feel like yourselves in. Soft, natural colours (white, cream, sand, sage, dusty blue) look beautiful against the ocean and black sand; avoid big logos and neon. Flowing dresses and linen move nicely in the wind. With the Classic and Premium packages you get a personal moodboard with outfit ideas.

What happens if the weather is bad?

Tenerife has sunshine most of the year, but clouds and wind do happen – especially in the north. If the weather isn’t suitable on the day, we move your session to another time or another part of the island at no extra cost, as long as your stay allows it.
