Portrait photoshoot in Tenerife
A solo session to see yourself the way others do: calm, natural and unposed. Sunset on black sand, soft forest light or your own idea, guided gently from start to finish.
Portraits that feel like you
Most people dislike photos of themselves because they are taken in a hurry, by a stranger, under awkward light. A portrait photoshoot in Tenerife is the opposite: unhurried, private and shaped around you. I begin with a short chat about what you would like to feel in the photos – quiet, joyful, strong, dreamy – and build the session from there.
You do not need experience in front of a camera. I give small directions – look past me, let your shoulders drop, walk slowly towards the water – and photograph the moments between. The result is a portrait with natural expression rather than a practised smile.
Creative direction and light
I studied photography at the Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design in Budapest, and that art background shapes how I work: composition, colour and light come first, and the technique stays invisible. I love backlight, reflections in water, shadows and quiet, minimal frames. I also enjoy working with you on details – fabrics that move in the wind, a hand resting on wet rock, a close crop or a wide landscape with you small in it.
Tenerife is a generous backdrop: black sand, tide pools, pine and laurel forest, cliffs and calm old streets. For a peaceful atmosphere, I often choose the hour before sunset or early morning, when the light is soft and the beaches are quiet. See the Tenerife photoshoot locations guide for ideas.
Solo photoshoot in Tenerife
Travelling alone or simply wanting a session for yourself? A solo photoshoot in Tenerife is a beautiful way to keep a trip, a new chapter or a birthday. One of my Google reviewers said I listened to her ideas and that she felt truly seen. I take that seriously: your ideas, references and boundaries guide the session, and we agree in advance what you are comfortable with.
Maternity photoshoot
A maternity photoshoot in Tenerife is gentle, unhurried and flattering – flowing dresses or a simple white shirt, soft light and lots of breaks. Come alone, with your partner or with older children. If you would like to include your partner, see the couples photoshoot, and for a wider family portrait visit the family photoshoot page.
Birthdays and milestones
A birthday portrait session can be a lovely gift to yourself or from someone who loves you: time and attention, a good outfit and a sunset. Tell me the occasion and I will add a personal touch.
Who portrait sessions are for
Portrait sessions suit anyone who wants photos of themselves that feel honest: a fresh profile picture, a keepsake from a trip, a creative project or a gift to yourself. If you are nervous, say so at the start. I will slow down, show you frames on the camera if you like and adjust until you feel at ease. Most people relax after the first ten minutes, once they see that the camera is on their side.
