What is a holiday photoshoot in Tenerife?

A Tenerife photoshoot is a relaxed, private session with a professional photographer during your stay on the island. Instead of taking turns behind the phone, you spend 45 minutes to two hours together at a beautiful spot – a black sand beach, volcanic cliffs at sunset, a misty laurel forest or the old streets of a colonial town – while I capture you as you are.

It’s for couples on holiday or honeymoon, families who want everyone in the picture for once, friends, solo travellers, mums-to-be and anyone planning a proposal. You don’t need modelling experience or a perfect outfit; you just need a little time and a sense of adventure.

Why book a local photographer?

Tenerife has microclimates: the north can be cloudy while the south is bright, and the wind changes everything on the coast. As a Tenerife-based photographer I know which beaches catch the evening light, where to find shade at noon and which viewpoints are quiet at sunrise. I plan your session around the place you’re staying and the exact golden hour on your date, so you spend your time enjoying the shoot – not driving around.

My background is in fine-art photography (BA from the Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design, Budapest), so I pay attention to light, colour and composition. My style is minimal and natural: real expressions, soft tones and a feeling of the island in every frame.

Best time for a photoshoot in Tenerife

Tenerife is a year-round destination, so any month works. For the most flattering light, book the hour before sunset or the first hour after sunrise. Summer evenings are long and warm; winter sunsets come earlier but the light is especially soft. Midday sessions are possible in forests, old towns and shaded spots.
